30/06/2015 – The recommendations outline opportunities to advance human rights issues in relation to five thematic areas: the protection of the rights of migrants, refugees, and asylum-seekers; human rights within the EU; the fight against discrimination in the EU; EU external action; and the trade in conflict minerals and in ‘tools of torture’. Amnesty International duly calls on your government to act upon these recommendations throughout the 2015 EU Presidency.
